History

Established in 1971, Polam Wilkasy was the result of a union of a group of lighting and electrochemical companies which operated from deep within the Communist ‘Polish Peoples Republic’. They became known for their rugged, overengineered lighting designs.

About

These unusual lamps were designed with one thing in mind – functionality. Their eye-catching finned enclosures provided the perfect means for heat to escape. Modern-day materials mitigate the need for such radical designs and a result, these lamps cannot avoid but reflect the personality of Eastern Europe’s industrial past.

Further information

Each fitting arrives complete with a new ceramic E27 lamp holder, retro fluorescent bulb, two metres of black cable, two metres of steel chain and a ceiling mounting plate. Complete and ready to hang.
