Well versed in the production of armaments for the Polish armed forces, Zaklady Metalowe MESKO had become renowned for its manufacture of robust and reliable equipment. It therefore came as no surprise that when they branched out into the production of industrial lighting, their assemblies were robust and extremely reliable. These lights were created shortly after the lifting of the iron curtain but retain a functional style synonymous with the cold war era.

These fittings were originally destined for smaller industrial facilities where their frosted glass dome would guarantee an ambient glow. Salvaged from a derelict storage facility on the Polish-Czech border, it quickly became apparent they had never been wired up in the first place. After thirty years in the dark, the lustre of the paintwork remains impeccable; the odd mark here and there ultimately shows these lights still have a story to tell.

Each light arrives complete with its original restored E27 lamp holder, two metres of black cable, two metres of steel chain and a ceiling mounting plate. Complete and ready to hang.
