Heavy-duty bunker pendants comprised of cast iron enclosures sitting atop striking ribbed glass domes. The marriage of rugged iron with delicate glass strikes a wonderful eye-catching balance. The original enamel coatings remain with varying degrees of patina, totally unique to each fitting on offer.

History

Most industrial lighting produced by Polam Wilkasy during the 60’s was comprised of lightweight aluminium castings but on the odd occasion they produced assemblies composed of cast iron. Combining cast iron with up-to-date design for the period creates fittings which are not only stylish but ooze rustic charm.

About

Composed of large cast iron enclosures sitting atop imposing ribbed prismatic glass domes, this marriage strikes a wonderful balance which cannot fail but catch your eye. Designed for the purpose of illuminating bunkers, these units are not only resilient, they provide a carpet of sparkled luminescence.

We made the decision to sympathetically preserve the naturally oxidised surface of these fittings using renaissance polish and thus ensuring they remain protected for many years to come.

Each pendant arrives complete with a new ceramic E27 lamp holder, one metre of black cable, one metre of steel chain and a ceiling mounting plate. Complete and ready to hang.
