Made by the Gdansk-based lighting manufacturer ‘Polam Wilkasy’. Their years of experience supplying heavy industry with illumination led to the creation of these robust yet characterful fittings. Created in 1982 during the twilight of the Cold War, their rugged, over-engineered design hints at a life designed for the oppressed landscape of the Soviet Union.

Salvaged from a disused aircraft hangar in the Baltics, these lights were recovered in remarkably good condition; having originally been sand-casted, we strived to retain the original casting textures. Our local professionals carefully vapour blasted the casings resulting in the removal of surface contaminants and the successful expression of their time-served patina.

Each fitting arrives complete with a new ceramic E27 lamp holder, two metres of black cable, two metres of steel chain and a ceiling mounting plate. Complete and ready to hang.
